Hola Amigos, 
It’s good to be back playing our regular golf again after the euphoria of Desert Springs!  Thank you for making our two newcomers, Marcin Stepman and Paul Taylor welcome and how good it was to see a few more returnees, John Fox, Tommy McDonnell, Rob Henshaw and Lydia Molyneux playing with us again.

There was some good scoring today and your results pan out as follows:-
Category 1
You, Lesley Mifsud, 33 points, Carol Brand, 34 and Brian Platt, 35 points are honourably mentioned herewith but excellent returns were posted by:-
Winner : Lydia Molyneux : 38 points
Runner-Up : Alastair Sporne : 37 points

Category 2 
Not quite as good as Category 1 but still very well played and honourably noted, Steve Egan 32 points, Tommy McDonnell, 33 and Claire Egan 34 just missing out on second spot by a lower handicap. It’s also good to see this winning name on top:-
Winner : Andrew Smithurst : 36 points
Runner-Up : Graham Field : 34 points

Team Competition 
Chasing a challenging standard par and of 108 points one Team exceeded the target and only 8 points separated the other 6 Teams.  
Winners : Team 1 : 114 points
Brian Platt, Lydia Molyneux, Graham Field and Rob Henshaw.
Runners-Up : Team 4 : 107 points
Marcin Stepman, Caz Clarke, Claire Egan and Steve Egan.

Other team results were: Teams 2, 5 & 7 = 105 pts, Team 3 = 103 pts and Team 6 = 99 pts.

Whilst, I am sure, many of you got close to the flags the only ‘Two’ recorded today was on the Hole 9 by Rob Henshaw, well done.

Upcoming competitions see Amigos travel to Camposol next Thursday, 08 Jul’21. Please do try this course if you haven’t played it before or it has been a long time, you may well be surprised and it’s only the next junction after Alhama Signature.  And less that €40, 00 to include buggy. Please let me know or book on-line straight away.  On 22 Jul’21 we play at Lo Romero and bookings are very strong so please be quick, €50,00 including shared buggy is a good rate too.  And at the end of the month 29 Jul’21 Amigos return to El Valle.
