Hola AMIGOS,
Thank you all for your support for our last Summer Swing competition at La Torre and especially for your patience. Thank you to Bob and Andrew for doing their best to get players off the tee, albeit not as the start sheet, whilst equipment challenges presented themselves and were dealt with!

No Individual performances counted today but it was all about the Teams.
Each of the 'Player 1s' 18 hole scores were added together to give a final bottom line total score, as were all Player 2s, Players 3s and Players 4s (all as listed on the original start sheet).  The Team with the highest total was declared the winning Team, and that Team, with many congratulations included:-
Winners : PLAYERS 3 TEAM : 203 points
Bob Lancaster, Sue Lansdell, Gary McAlpine, Stan Lalley, Richard Deeley (Ghost), Caz Clarke and Graham Field

Other team scores were: Team 1 : 199 pts; Team 4 : 198 pts and Team 2 : 195 points.

As an aside, the 4-Ball with the highest score included both Deeleys, Andrew Smithurst and Bob Lancaster with a remarkable combined total of 131 points. And just a note of recognition for Bob Lancaster who scored 39 points on his own and a clear 5 points better than anyone else!  Sorry no prize on this occasion.

Only two sharpshooters displayed their skills today, which is unusual for La Torre, but well done Kersten Rammeloo with a 2 on Hole 17, and Lynn Lalley with her 2 on Hole 15 and also Nearest the Pin on Hole 9.

Thank you everyone who took part and adapted to the changes. The next Amigos game is at La Finca and we are so looking forward to seeing you there.
