What a day!  Belonging almost exclusively to Pauline and Peter Cafferkey!  Sweeping the board in every Category, and certainly a day for them to remember!  
Was there room for anyone else?
Category 1 : Individual
Hans Nout, 37 points and Kersten Rammeloo, 36 points, whilst being honourably mentioned could only sit back in awe of the winner and newest recruit to the ‘Forties Club’:-

Category 1 : Team
With honourable mentions, above, how could this Dream Team fail to win?  However, they were pushed hard and only a slightly lower combined handicap secured the victory.  Team 3 : Shane Bordier, Colin Walters, Darren Bakes and Dave Robinson you deserve your honourable mention also with 73 points.
Winners : Team 9 : 73 points
Kersten Rammeloo, Hans Nout, Peter Cafferkey and Gordon Hutchinson 
Other Cat 1 team scores were: Team 3 = 73pts, Team 2 = 72pts, Team 1 = 65pts.
Category 2 : Individual 
Well done Dave Hooper, 36 points, Sus Tonnisen and Vince Mifsud, 34 with your honourable mentions but again a clear winner was:-
Winner : Dave Robinson : 38 points
Category 2 : Team 
Another predictable outcome maybe, the Ladies Dream Team totally eclipsing the Category 2 opposition. Many congratulations:-

Pauline Cafferkey, 36 points, Anthony Gray and Harry Rice you are the honourable mentionees but keeping this family in the frame, congratulations:-

Category 3 : Team
Keeping the one under par category winning Team score going, this Team also did very well:-
Winners : Team 12 : 73 points
Vince Mifsud, Harry Rice, Bob Lancaster and Simon Hastings
Other Cat 3 team scores were: Team 11 = 65pts, Team 7 = 64pts, Team 4 = 60pts.

As we would come to expect the class of the Category 1 golfers shone in the Nearest the Pin target shooting competition.  Well done, Emmett Loftus on Hole 1 (in 2) and Hole 12; Peter Cafferkey on Hole 6, Roger Krinks on Hole 9; Hans Nout on Hole 15 and James Silvestro on Hole 18 (In 3).  
Many of the NTP’s shots were converted into ‘Two’s’ but the most remarkable Two came on the Hole 4  (par 4) where Pauline Cafferkey eagled to hole out, certainly two shots to remember.  Also Peter Cafferkey, Holes 6 and 9, Vince Mifsud, Kersten Rammeloo, and Hans Nout all on Hole 12 did so well.

December sees three more cracking competitions: next week, Thursday 08 Dec’22 at Alhama Signature where we have not been since pre-covid times, Villamartin, arguably one of the best golf courses around on Thursday 22 Dec’22 and finally you are all invited the Amigos end of year Glitter Ball to be held at Las Colinas where a great day of golf is anticipated followed by a tapas food and drink accompanied prize presentation.  The only requirement is that you add as much glitter, sparkle and bling as possible to your person and golf gear as possible for the opportunity to win even more prizes!  More to come.
