Hola Amigos,
It is always a pleasure to take Amigos to Golf Altorreal and today was a another great occasion keeping up the standards. A full house made up of regulars, irregulars, new faces, old faces not seen for quite a while, family golfers all playing on a golf course with improving recently re-laid greens a with a challenging Team Medalford Pairs Betterball format augured well for fun and chaos!  And it proved to be but with some good golf in between.
The competition standard was 36 and 2/3rds of you surpassed that total and in many cases comfortably, so well done.  The podium places went to the following Teams with the lowest scores:-
Winners : Team 9 : 21 points
Steve Jones, Ron Weller, Vilma Krinks and Rita Jacobs
Runners-Up : Team 8 : 24 points
Maarten Ceusters, Rudy Ceusters, Graham Booth and Guido Dupont
3rd Place : Team 7 : 26 points
Cormac Sheehy, David Wells, Arden McCrory and Graham Platts

Congratulations to our sharpshooters with 5 targets to aim at these guys were hot, Hole 4 (In 2), Ron Weller;  Hole 5, Rita Jacobs, Hole 10, Dave Robinson (Robbo), Hole 11 (In 4!), Harry Rice and Hole 12 (In 3), Dave Robinson (Robbo Junior). In the ‘Two’s Pot’ Mick Lynch, Andrew Stow and Steve Jones found the cup on Hole 8 and also Steve Jones on Hole 17 and Graham Booth on Hole 10.
Thank you to everyone else who took part and supported the winners on the impressive refurbished Bar Terrace afterwards.

All Team scores are available on this page and also please check the remaining competition fixtures for 2022. There are some impressive games and competitions in prospect at Hacienda Riquelme, Hacienda del Alamo, El Valle, La Torre, Villamartin, Las Colinas and a challenge match play versus Sucina Golf Society all coming up.  You know the procedure by now, register as soon as you can and email me if the site shows ‘fully booked’ to be placed on the reserve list.  There is always a good chance of playing.
