Hola todos,   Thank you all for your support today and the convoluted way it unfurled, it was the best we could do to get so many of you a game!   For your information, in the Division 1 individual and Team competition which was mostly affected by the earlier detached times and who were dismissed early, two ladies played exceptional golf. Many congratulations go to Janet Tone, runner-up with 39 points but wow, Sharon Seed, winner, continues an exceptional run of form with 42 points!   Division 1 Team accolades went to:-   Team 3 : 117 points:   Brian Platt, Janet Tone, Hazel Price and Phil Smith   In Division 2 Caz Clarke deserves an honourable mention with a good 35 points as are our joint runners-up Harry Rice and,  never away from prizes, Dave Hooper with 36 points apiece. But another exceptional golf story was that of today’s winner Colin Hynd with 40 points.   In Division 3 your host, Graham Field’s 36 points was noteworthy but well done runner-up ‘H’ Clarke with 37 points and Pat Gingell’s 38 points was up there with the best.   The mix of Division 2 and 3 Team players produced a ‘best of the day’ score for our La Torre winners:-   Team 8 : 118 points:   Colin Hind, Peter Dyos, Harry Rice and Patricia Gingell.   Well done too runners-up:-   Team 9 : 113 points:   Bob Lancaster, Werner Johnslov, ‘H’ Clarke and Graham Field   Please continue to use the website results pages for all your individual and team performances and we do wish to acknowledge Rudy Ceusters, An Van Den Borre and Richard MacDonald, in particular, who were ‘rested’ today in order for others to play.   You will find, shortly, the full details of the Amigos Anniversary Cup ‘away day’ excursion to Valle del Este which was announced today with an all inclusive price of €60,00 per person for the full package, definitely not to be missed.  Please note also that we have a FB account, ‘Amigos Golf Society’ which may be useful to some of you but not though for registering games which must be done via the website booking tool.   Thank you all once again and see most of you back at Alhama Signature next week on Thursday 12 Mar’20.   Hast Pronto Graham. ​ ​
