We hope you all enjoyed our day at New Sierra. 
It was good to see some new faces, so welcome back to Kirk Green, Emmet Loftus, Stuart Ince and Davis Ince. Also our only lady golfer, Lynda Fleming, well done for putting up with us. The course was in excellent condition, which resulted in some excellent golfing performances, even though it was like playing inside an oven with some serious heat on the second nine.

In the individual competition there was some excellent scoring with honourable mentions for Dave Robinson Jnr. 36pts and Kirk Green 34pts. Following a recheck of the cards it transpired that Dennis Morrisons reported 37pts should have been 39pts, putting him level second with 2nd Stefan Agten's 39pts. However the star of the day in 1st position was John Mair with a magnificent 43 pts. We all wish then “happy new handicap”.

The Pairs competition saw fairly even scoring by all but one team who returned a score of 62pts including a number of birdies on double points holes.  Well done to Kirk Green and Stefan Agten.

Other team scores were: Pairs 3 & 7 = 54pts, Pair 4 = 50pts, Pair 5 = 46pts, Pair 2 = 43pts, Pair 6 = 40pts.

Congratulations to Stuart Ince who bagged the only "2" on the 6th.

We look forward to meeting up again at La Torre next Thursday.
