Hola Amigos,   
What a day!  One of the worst weather days in the history of Amigos golf! The start sheet, which was difficult to put together under the current lockdown measures held so much promise but unfortunately did not prove to be as competitive as it should have been.

Of 28 players, 12 endured the full 18 holes and 3 just 9 holes. It was unfortunate that buggies were not allowed on the course but well done to those who managed to walk despite their dodgy hips and knees!

Under the circumstances the competition was abandoned but everyone will get their prize fund money back.  However and despite the atrocious weather at times, honourable mentions must go to:-

Richard MacDonald = 33 points,
Rudy Ceusters = 32 points,
Rod Howarth = 31 points,
Gordon Hutchinson = 19 points (9 holes).

Thank you to those who played and those who turned up and decided not to play for obvious reasons and don’t worry the circumstances were exceptional and we weren’t let down in any way.

We hope that everyone can join us at El Valle next Thursday 12 Nov’20 but please let me no of any changes if you have booked on-line. After that games are in abeyance and subject to the outcome of lockdown measures but we will endeavour to re-arrange venues to provide you with your weekly golf.
