Thank you all for supporting ‘Ladies Day at La Torre’ today or that’s how the results appear!  There were some awesome rounds of golf with the Ladies prominent in Individual and Team Competitions and the ‘Two’s Pot’ prizes. Very well done to all of you.

Category 1
Shout outs go to our only men to be honourably mentioned, Gary McAlpine, 32 Stableford points, Richard MacDonald, 31 points and many congratulations  go to our Runner-Up and prize Winner today:-
Winner : Lesley Mifsud : 42 points
Runner-Up : Sharon Seed : 34 points.

Category 2
Honourably mentioned and ‘token’ man is Graham Platts with 35 points, well done and also many congratulations Patricia Gingell, 36 points, Hanne Johnslov 37 points. But the plaudits go to Runner-Up and best of the day Winner who had 27 points alone on the front 9 holes beating many others for the full 18!

Runner-Up : An van den Borre : 39 points.

Team 4-ball Competition
With a standard par of 144 points with all four team member’s scores counting our winning Team almost made it and Runners-Up were only a point behind.
Winners : Team 5 : 139 points

Runners-Up : Team 3 : 138 points
Graham Booth, Mark Seed, Lesley Mifsud and Yvonne Verhoeven.

Team Blind Stableford Competition
Each ‘blind’ team, all Players 1 on the start sheet, Players 2, Players 3 and Players 4 had an equal handicap total to start and all their individual Stableford scores were added to give a winning team. A bit random but a bit of fun and a change. So the congratulations go to:-
Team Players 3 : 201 points

Team Players 1 : 187 points, Team Players 2 : 168 points and Team Players 4 : 165 points.

Two’s Pot
With a rollover from Roda Golf last week a handsome return was shared between:-

Please check upcoming fixtures but the only one I’ll mention here is next Thursday 13 May’21 where subject to an official announcement being made regarding the suspension of the regional boundary Las Ramblas is the venue. Plan B is back to Roda Golf but let’s see what happens and I’ll let you know soonest.
