Thank you to all who played at El Valle today and for the last time this year. You were the strongest, fittest and freest of all distractions today, or last guys standing after a much altered start sheet!
Your scores were OK today and the better ones were generated by Category 1 Players although a Category 2 Player was best of the day.
Category 1
Winner : Alastair Sporne : 34 points
Runner-Up : Gordon Hutchinson : 33 points
(This is different from the announcement on the day as further checks showed 2 innocent errors on Gordon's card which reduced the score from 35 to 33).
Many congratulations on two good scores and also to our honourable ‘mentionees’; Mike Kitchen, 33, Bob Lancaster, 32 and Sam McReynolds, 31 points.
Category 2 
Winner : Yvonne Verhoeven : 37 points
Runner-Up : Rudy Ceusters : 31 points
Well done Yvonne and clearly the best score of the day. And let’s give Richard a mention too with 28 points. And, keeping a family trait going well done An Van Den Borre, 27 points but not quite on a par with Rudy today.
Team Competition 
As anticipated many a blob to cancel out the good scores on those ‘lowest two’ scores counting, sneaky, but many congratulations and collecting the only team prize today:-

And let’s not forget the other target shooter Sam McReynolds for the only ‘two’ of the day on Hole 7.
Isn’t it strange that today’s prize winners mostly seem to have their names above printed twice?
You all know what’s to come next, our trip to Altaona, playing all 18 holes on 23 Dec’21 embarrassing yourselves rotten with all that Christmas gear and the end of year Black and White (Golf) Ball at Lo Romero on 30 Dec’21. More details to follow.
