Hola AMIGOS
It was so good to have so many of you support us at Bonalba today. It might have been a longish trek but well worth the effort and for those who couldn’t make it what a missed opportunity to play this great venue in very playable conditions and where we are looked after so well. We hope the rookies and first timers and those not seen for a long while enjoyed the experience especially.
How was it on the fairways and how well did you do? Well, results were very very good with 75% of the field posting scores of 30 Stableford points or more so you all deserve a round of applause!

Category 1 : Individual
Everyone got the measure of the course, as should be expected in this category. Kevin Batchelor you are honourably mentioned with 34 points and also Colin Walters and Dave Robinson with 33 points. But with just the one category winner what a win it was! Best of the day and entry into the Amigos Forties Club, many congratulations....

Category 2 : Individual
Good scoring again throughout and well done for being honourably mentioned Alan Kilminster, Gail Duffield and Steve Fitzpatrick with 35 points. But with one Category podium place available your winner returned a great score, many congratulations....

Category 3 : Individual
Again showing worthy returns Alan Leonard and Lynn Lalley you are mentioned with 31 points and Bob Lancaster, 34 honourably so, well played. And a worthy and familiar winner steps up to the podium, congratulations....

Team Competition
A tricky format was intended to test you, but not so, with many Teams exceeding standard par of 108 points. In fact every Team did well so good job all. The number one Team containing two Individual Winners were way beyond reach though. Many congratulations...

No NTP’s today and no Two’s were recorded either so well played the Charity Pot!

Leading up to the Amigos Anniversary Cup Away Day Event on 23/24 May’24 not too far away from where we played today, are Mar Menor, Thursday 25 Apr’24, Alhama Signature, Thursday 02 May’24 and Golf Altorreal, Wednesday 08 May’24. Please do register if you would like to be considered but please expect to be added to a reserve list if showing fully booked.
