Thank you all for turning up to play our re-arranged competition at El Valle today.  It was good to see so many golfers and especially our new boy John Lowther and all of the Rammeloos! And the bonus is that we didn’t get wet on this occasion.

Many congratulations go to our Individual stableford category winners today:-
Category 1 : Gordon Hutchinson : 36 points.
And good job Anne Prince with 33 points.
Category 2 : Brian Stobbs : 36 points.
And honourable mentions to Dennis Morrison, 34 points and Graham Platts, 33 points.
Category 3 : Graham Field : 31 points.

The ‘Magic 7’s’ Team competition was a tough one and a good score was to come in at zero points and whilst most teams got close only two Teams exceeded that number.
Congratulations to the Runners-Up: Team 7 : +2 points:
Anne Prince, Bob Lancaster, Dave Hughes and Graham Field.

But far and away with a massive lead and deserving all of the plaudits today the Winning Team was: Team 4 : +12 points:
Gordon Hutchinson, Sandra Rammeloo, Dennis Morison and Graham Platts.

Well done to every other player and Team who participated and the remaining team scores were: Team 6: -7pts, Team 1: -8pts, Team 5: -8pts, Team 3: -9pts & Team 1: -12pts.

The next Amigos fixture is again at El Valle in two weeks time, Thursday 25 Jun’20.  If you have withdrawn with the expectation of returning to the UK and been cancelled for one reason or another do please rebook on-line or at least keep me posted.  And, if you have friends or colleagues on Mar Menor or El Valle or elsewhere who might be here for the summer months please do let them know of our regular Thursday golf games.
