Thank you all for joining us at Hacienda Del Alamo today where conditions were just about perfect for golf. But how did you all perform? Judging by the scores not as well as might have been expected and the tricky fast greens surely played their part! However there were one or two notable exceptions.
Category 1 : Individual
Tom Bathe you are honourably mentioned for your 35 points and Iain Stewart, 37 points, you played very well and only missed out on a podium place due to a higher handicap. Many congratulations goes to our runner-up and what a show from our winner, a worthy ‘Forties Club’ performance!

Runner-Up : Garry Elderbrand : 37 points
Category 2 : Individual
The three Amigos coming out on top of this Category proved that you don’t need to have an outstanding golf score to win, merely just enough! Unfortunately Kevin Lambe, 34 points just missed out on the prizes but it was very close.
Winner : Mick Lynch : 34 points
Runner-Up : Brian Stobbs, 34 points
Team Competition
Having two lowest scores to count on five holes certainly put a dampener on the final totals with only 5 Teams scoring standard par, 72 points, or more. However a clear Team emerged as worthy winners. Congratulations:-

Runners-Up : Team 6 : 73 points

Other team scores were: Teams 4&8 = 72pts, Team 13 = 65pts, Team 12 = 64pts, Team 11 = 61pts, Teams 9&10 = 60pts, Teams 1&3 = 59pts, Team 2 = 57pts.

On form with those NTP target shots today, and very well played, were Hole 7 (In 2) Garry Elderbrand, Hole 8 Colin Walters, Hole 9 (In 4) Gary Elderbrand, Hole 10 (In 2) Gary McAlpine and Hole 11 (In 3) Paul Taylor and putting pressure on the Charity Two’s Pot were on Hole 12, Iain Stewart, John Burgess, Tam Bathe and Emmett Loftus and Hole 16, Patrice Petre and Poul Fris Hansen.

The next few competitions at Lo Romero, La Torre and La Finca are showing fully booked with reserve lists but please do let me know of any additional interest as there is often a turnover of players prior to game time.
