Hola Amigos, 
Wow, was that hot!!!  The heat did not put off our new Amigo Wayne Goulden and returning Richard MacDonald.  Great to see you guys and the rest of our Amigos at La Torre.

There was some good scoring today and your results pan out as follows:-
Category 1
Honourable mentions went to Steve Atkinson with 35pts, Richard MacDonald, Gordon Hutchinson and Kirk Green, all with 34pts but our prize winners were :-
Winner : Caz Clarke with 36 points
Runner-Up : Malcolm Weaver with 35 points (pipping Steve Atkinson with a lower handicap)

Category 2 
Scoring was slightly weaker in Category 2 but an honourable mention does go to Andrew Smithurst with 34pts, just pipped by our prize winners that could only be separated on 'lowest handicap' basis:-
Winner : Davis Ince : 35 points
Runner-Up : Liz Murty : 35 points.

Team Competition 
In the team competition, 'best three scores on each hole', was rated at a par score of 108pts. Three teams surpassed this target, however, the prize winners were a team where all their players had a good solid round:  
Winners : Team 1 : 120 points
Gordon Hutchinson, Caz Clarke, Steve Atkinson and Liz Murty.

Other team results were: Teams 3 = 113 pts, Team 2 = 110 pts, Team 4 = 102 pts and Team 5 = 99 pts.

La Torre is usually a rich picking ground for 2's with 6 par 3's but none were recorded today.

No Amigos game next week, so we hope to see you all at Hacienda del Álamo on the 26th.
