Many apologies for taking you to a very disappointing golf course yesterday. You get the rough with the smooth with Amigos golf adventures and regrettably there was more of the former than the latter! When booked over a year ago this course was making substantial improvements but seemed to have gone backwards. I am assured, however, that internal and external issues are being resolved and we should not write off this course moving forward.
The conditions did affect the scorecard returns with only one under par round submitted. Let’s see how you did:-

Mentions for Iain Stewart and Harry Rice’s 32 points and honourably so for Mark Cocker‘s 36 narrowly missing out by 0.2 of a handicap for a prize! Well done everyone and especially the one/two:-

Team Competition
A straightforward format but proving difficult especially with four scores counting on the 4 x Par 3’s! Congratulations though to the Teams on the podium who managed to edge past standard par of 108:-

It is always pleasing to recognise individual consistency even when playing within Team Games and on behalf of Platinum Property your deserved Order of Merit winners for May-August were Ron Weller, Category 1 and Liz Murty, Category 2 and they were presented with commemorative Trophies in a closer than normal period. Ron, by the way, collected his second Trophy for back to back wins, what an accomplishment!
