What a great Amigos afternoon of golf!  Judging by your reactions I do take it that you enjoyed playing Las Ramblas, it is such a lovely place.  But not too frequently though?

As expected unfamiliarity saw tough going for some, respectability for others and with a few excellent returns as follows:-
Category 1:
Lesley Mifsud, 34 Stableford points, Gordon Hutchinson, Alastair Sporne and Bob Lancaster, 33 points you are hereby honourably mentioned.  But many congratulations our Runner-Up and so good to see him play with Amigos again and a winner that just keeps playing well, whenever and wherever:-
Winner : Dave Maskens : 38 points
Runner-Up : Stewart Dennerley : 36 points.

Category 2:
John Mair, 35 pts and Liz Murty, 34 pts are both applauded but many congratulations go to our Runner-Up and what an awesome round of golf and best of the day, with all the plaudits for this category winner:-
Winner : Hanne Johnslov : 39 points
Runner-Up : Harry Rice : 35 points (lowest handicap).

Team Competition 
The scoring was reasonably close and with 4 Teams comfortably beating standard par of 90 points, two Teams shared Runners-Up spot but on total of lower handicaps many congratulations go to:- 

Winners : Team 5 : 103 points
Dave Maskens, Bob Lancaster, Liz Murty and Eddy Murty
Runners-Up : Team 6 : 97 points
Alastair Sporne, Dave Hughes, Claire Egan and Steve Egan
3rd Place : Team 4 : 97 points
Stewart Dennerley, Harry Rice, Aidan Lowe and Graham Platts.

Other team scores were: Team 7 & Team 3 = 95 pts, Team 2 = 85 pts, Team 1 = 80 pts.

Well done our sharpshooters today sharing the ‘Two’s Pot’ were: Alastair Sporne and Steve Egan.

Please do look at all of the up and coming Amigos fixtures and keep your eyes and ears open for competitions across several Societies over the next few days.

I am pleased to see your response to the Desert Springs away day and more of that later, but I do need to know urgently if you require to take up the golf apartments for a stopover.
