Hola Amigos,   
Thank you all for playing at Saurines today and supporting our Amigos Golf Society and putting up with all the anti-covid challenges that were presented to us on and off course.  I hope that you all made Jett Smith, Jimmy Boggon and Grahame Bradbury, our first timer’s, welcome and it was good to see old faces return. an additional thank you to all those of you who enjoyed drinks on the terrace at El Cason afterwards.  

Today’s game, hopefully gently introduced us back into golf with a low key team game.  We did have prizes though and many congratulations go to the following:-   
Third place : Team 3 : 90 stableford points -  
Dave Hooper, Steve Cockeram, Eddie Murty and Phil Prince.
We owe you prize money next time.
Runners-up : Team 1 : 91 stableford points -   
Garry Elderbrand, Brian Platt, Dave Robinson and Dennis Morrison.   
But what a day for the G Force!   
Winners : Team 8 : 95 stableford points -   
Grahame Bradbury, Graham Booth, Graham Platts and Graham Field.   

Team 2 and Team 5, 89 points; Team 7, 87 points; Team 6, 86 points and Team 4, 82 points. All very close, well played everyone!   

Our next game is at La Torre next Thursday 28 May’20, first tee time 09.30 am and whilst we have a start sheet more or less finalised if you do want to play please let me know today or tomorrow.  Following that we visit Golf Altorreal on Thursday 04 Jun’20 so if you want to play, the course does fall within our legal travel region by the way, please do let me know also straight away and whether you require a buggy, you know the hilly terrain and it’s Summer and hot!

Finally I am pleased that we managed to toast John Breaker, an Amigo who recently lost his brave fight trying to beat his cancer and thank you for your contributions to his Hospice back in the UK.
