Thank you all for participating in today’s competition at Lo Romero.  With a full house, new members and playing partners, long time returnees, reservists, differing skill and handicap levels, a great course in great condition for this hot time of year, great camaraderie and with exceptional value for money made for a very successful day.
For such favourable playing conditions good scoring was anticipated and so it proved with all Teams scoring under par for the Team Pairs Format.  And for those making the podium places, many congratulations.

Exceptional Sharpshooting saw the nearest the pins hammered:-
Hole 5, Martin Scott; Hole 11 (in 2), Gordon Hutchinson and Hole 18, the infamous ‘Island Green’ (in 3), Colin Walters.
It’s always a good feeling to make a ‘Two’ and Liz McReynolds, Martin Scott and Hans Nout achieved same, well done.

Summer always sees numbers reduced but please do support Amigos at Hacienda Riquelme, 28 Jul’22 and La Torre on 04 Aug’22 to help create a good competition atmosphere, if you are here in Spain of course. 11 Aug’22 sees us play Campoamor, always a great course and at a bargain price of €52.50 including buggy!  Register on-line or contact me soonest for inclusion, you will all be made to feel most welcome.
