Hola AMIGOS
There is something nice about a smaller group of players, it’s far less frenetic and more intimate, however, it won’t last!  One more Summer Competition before Autumn High Season commences with a well booked register to look forward to.  But how did you hot weather stalwarts perform today? Well good to very good to exceptional. Let’s see:-
Individual : Category 1
This group falls into the ‘good’ category with honourable mentions for Sam McReynolds and Ron Weller, 33 points, and your winners par total was good enough to win the prize. Congratulations to those mentioned and everyone else in this group:-
Winner : Dave Robinson : 36 points
Individual : Category 2
This is where the fireworks happened and fits into the ‘very good’ and ‘exceptional’ categories.  Whilst Liz Murty’s 36 points matched the first division winner, Chris Dunne’s 39 and Paul Best’s 40 points were magnificent scores but they could only remain in their seats in stunned awe of the winner’s amazing return.  Very, very well played those mentioned you lifted the day!
Winner : Dave Hughes : 43 points (yes, forty three points!)

Team Competition 
With 3 Stableford scores counting on every hole all your combined scores were all worthy of mention and the even the lowest Team met standard par of 104. But with the highest Individual scorer in the Team this four-ball were worthy of the accolades:-
Winners : Team 5 : 120 points
Colin Walters, Ron Weller, Harry Rice and Dave Hughes
Other team scores were: Team 1 = 118pts, Teams 2 & 3 = 116pts, Team 4 = 104pts.

And for the 3rd Amigos Competition in a row the Charity Two’s Pot thanks you for ‘missing’ those second shots for the money!
So the last Summer Competition will be held at La Torre next Thursday 29 Aug’24 before the build up to the Autumn’s games, starting with Lo Romero on 05 Sep’24 which will be significant for a number of reasons.  The Platinum Property Order of Merit winners along with the Race to La Finca monthly winners will be awarded with their Trophies, Medals and Balls and the Amigos 2025 Fixture List will be announced including all major Competitions and Tournaments for the year and the Anniversary Cup Away Day venue! Alhama Signature, Las Colinas and  Font del Llop  quickly follow and if you would like to play register now or let me know by email if showing fully booked.
