Hola Amigos, 
We hope that you all enjoyed yesterday’s Christmas competition and that it proved a good opener to your festive celebrations.  How nice it was to see our usual regulars, irregulars and also seeing some new faces is always a pleasure. We wish all those who would have made it but for which circumstances disrupted their opportunity the very best and hope everyone remains safe and well.
What did you all make of the new holes?  Let’s just say, interesting, and trust that the introduction will have prepared you all for the more serious competitions to come?
All of you who played yesterday were winners and, being Christmas, were rewarded with prizes!
However, we will just present one or two highlights.  With the format of counting down 50 points before ‘scoring’ the results were very good but top of the pile with a clear margin were:-
Winners : Team 6 : 72 points
Sam McReynolds, Klaus Hummel, Hanne Johnslov and Andrew Smithurst
Runners-Up : Team 4 : 60 points
Alastair Sporne, Stewart Dennerley, David Robinson and Phil Matthewman
And your sharpshooters on the new holes were:-
Hole 11, Paul Taylor; Hole 12 (in 4), Alastair Sporne, Hole 13 (in 2) Graham Booth and Hole 14 (in 3) Klaus Hummel.
Amigos wish you all a safe and relaxing Christmas wherever you may be celebrating and let’s all look forward to the end of year special Amigos Black and White (Golf) Ball next Thursday 30 Dec’21 at Lo Romero.
