Thank you all for supporting Amigos at Altaona today and whilst the course wasn’t in very good condition I hope that you appreciated the value for money, enjoyed the last two ‘new’ holes, the format and the camaraderie of your playing partners.

With a few notable exceptions scoring was somewhat muted today but here are your results. Please note that the strokes were converted to stableford scores.
Individual : Category 1:
Three players vied for this position on 35 Stableford points but all were pipped by a solo 36 points (bets of the day) score. Honourable mentions go to John Burgess and Eddie Beale but on lowest handicap in first place is:-
Winner : David Henshall-Brown : 36 points
Runner-up : Colin Hynd : 35 points.

Individual : Category 2
Honourably mentioned are Dave Hughes and Sharon Seed but in first place congratulations:-
Winner : Rudy Ceusters : 32 points
Runner-Up : Carol Henshall-Brown : 31 points.

Individual : Category 3
Well done Lynne Hynd, 30 points and Richard Verhoeven, 31 points but top of this pile:-
Winner : Patrick Du Mon : 35 points!
Runner-Up : Liz McReynolds : 33 points.

In the Team Competition when 18 is standard par and looking to go below that target prizes were well deserved by our winners and runners-up:-
Winners : Team 3 : 10 points
Gordon Hutchinson, John Burgess, Bob Lancaster and Patricia Gingell 
Runners-Up : Team 5 : 12 points
Sam McReynolds, Carol Henshall-Brown, Eddie Beale and Richard Verhoeven.

Other team results were: Team 7 & Team 6 = 15pts, Team 4 & Team 9 = 19pts, Team 1 = 20pts, Team 2 = 21pts, Team 8 = 27pts.

In the Mini-Competition with all four stableford scores counting on the new 10th and 18th holes the following Team merited their prize:-

Many retrospective congratulations go to all our previous winners and runners-up catching up on covid restricted presentations, and hope you appreciated your applause. Thank you to Dave Hooper and Bob Lancaster who helped with the organisation and adjudication.
