Thank you all for playing at El Valle today and supporting Amigos and it was especially good to see the ‘old’ Dave (Robbo) Robinson back as well as welcoming the ‘new’ Dave (2-dots) Robinson and also the Clarkes now that travel restrictions are lifted.

It was hot today, however the golf was not that hot, but many congratulations still go to all of our winners and runners-up.  Firstly though, thank you to the team Captains for the extra pressure put on you, good sports!

Garry Elderbrand : 34 points on lower handicap countback from Kersten Rammeloo and Dave (2-dots) Robinson (new).

The Team scores were generally round about or just below par for the competition so well done Captain’s and supporting crews.

Winners : Team 6 = 111 points
Kersten Rammeloo, Bob Lancaster, Dave Hughes and (ghost) H Clarke.


Other scores were: Team 2 = 103 pts, Team 1 = 102 pts, Team 5 = 99 pts, Team 3 = 98 pts, Team 7 = 95 pts.

These are strange times we live in so to those who are leaving for their UK holiday homes, good luck, to those who have had to deal with delays and cancellations or still don’t know, I hope that your luck changes soon and for those remaining, more sunshine golf!

The next games are La Torre, Thursday 02 Jul’20 and Hacienda Riquelme on Thursday 09 Jul’20 and 23 Jul’20. As always please do let me know of any changes as soon as you can and please do invite your friends to join us especially over the quieter summer months.
