25/07/24 LA TORRE
ARCHIVED RESULT FROM
Hola AMIGOS
Despite hot summer temperatures at La Torre being a factor today it didn’t deter you from returning respectable scores. Let’s see how you performed:-
Individual Category 1
33 Stableford points was a category average across all players and Mel Watson and Kersten Rammeloo achieved this, well played, and Steve Fitzpatrick and Dave Robinson with 36 points just missed out on a podium place through higher handicaps but are honourably mentioned. But many congratulations today’s 1-2-3:-
Winner : Mick Lynch : 38 points (lower handicap)
Runner-Up : Stan Lalley : 38 points
Third Place : Colin Walters : 36 points (lowest handicap)
Individual Category 2
Slightly lower scoring in this Category and Aiden McCrory, 31 points, and Paul Best, 32 points you are both hereby mentioned, well played. But there were standouts for the podium spots, congratulations:-
Winner : Andrew Smithurst : 38 points
Runner-Up : Lynn Lalley : 37 points
Third Place : Steve Dickinson : 36 points
Team Competition
96 points was this format’s standard par so with 106 points, Team 6; Colin Walters, Kersten Rammeloo, Bob Lancaster and Andrew Smithurst your anticipations to secure first place might have been high but with the same score and lower combined handicap the winners were with all our congratulations:-
Winners : Team 4 : 106 points
Darren Bakes, Dave Robinson, Paul Best and Steve Dickinson
Other team scores were: Team 2 = 102pts, Team 1 = 96pts, Team 5 = 94pts & Team 3 = 93pts.
Despite 6 x opportunities on par 3’s at La Torre to shoot
‘Two’s’ no one managed to achieve a result, so well done the Charity Box!
