It was a hot one today wasn’t it?  The scores, however showed that you managed to deal with the conditions and the course was a delight to play on especially at this time of year and water being of a premium.
Category 1
As it should be, the category 1 players demonstrated their skills better and honourable mentions are reserved for Colin Walters and Lars Eikeland, 35 points and Klaus Hummel, Kirk Green, Hans Nout and Stan Lalley, 34 points and a very creditable score was achieved by our Runner-Up; but playing a ‘blinder’ today with a best of the day score by a long stretch was your winner:-
Winner : Kersten Rammeloo : 40 points (11.0 handicap!)
Runner-Up : Dave Hooper : 36 points
Category 2
The winning score was more modest but still 4 players vied for the title.  Missing out on those medals though were Manou de Caluwe and Mike Hough, 33 points on higher handicaps.  A mention goes to Bob Lancaster with 30 points:-
Winner : Vince Mifsud : 33 points (lowest handicap on countback)
Runner-Up : Graham Platts : 33 points ( next lowest handicap on countback)
Team Competition 
Anticipating more Teams achieving standard par of 108 with this ‘2-3-4 time’ Waltz only one Team managed and deserved the accolades.  Having individual high scorers also helped:-
Winners : Team 7 : 111 points
Kersten Rammeloo, Hans Nout, Mike Hough and Andrew Smithurst
Runners-up : Teams 1 and 2 : 107 points
Stan Lalley, Lars Eikeland, Graham Platts and Manou de Caluwe (Ghost)
Colin Walters, Bob Lancaster, Eddie Murty and Manou de Caluwe.

Other team scores were: Teams 5 & 6 = 102pts, Team 3 = 97pts, Team 4 = 96pts

No matter how good today’s NTP sharpshooters were, Greg Williams, Hole 6; Lars Eikeland, Hole 14 and Kirk Green, Hole 18 (in 3) only one player managed a ‘Two’, congratulations Colin Walters.

Well done to everyone not mentioned above for your participation. Your day will come and you always make the competition so much better.
