Hola Amigos, 
Thank you all for supporting Amigos at Altaona Village today where we managed to play before the anticipated storms, (memories of last times washout!). It’s always a friendly and welcoming venue and we hope that both new Amigos and ‘regulars’ enjoyed the competition format and course.
Please note that all medal scores have been converted to stableford points in the individual categories but their will be no handicap adjustments as Altaona has not yet had its Slope assessment ratified.

In Category 1 honourable mentions favour Annick D’Anvers and Dave Robinson, 33 stableford points, David Henshall-Brown, 34 but many congratulations:-
Winner : Hans Beque : 35 points

In Category 2 honourably mentioned are Rod Howarth and Stuart Crump, 30 points, Ginny Bristo, 33 but happy days:-
Winner : Sharon Seed : 34 points.

In Category 3 Rudy Ceusters, 32 stableford points, Richard MacDonald, 35 did well but unfortunately Lynne Hynd just missed out winning on a lower handicap countback with a joint best of the day 37 points. But very well done:-
Winner : Patrick Du Mon : 37 points.

In the Team Medalford format most of our teams played very well recording under standard par of 18 where the lower the better scores brought prizes. However, the Winners and Runners-Up deserving your plaudits are:-

Winners : Team 6 : 4 (Four!, 14 shots under par)
David Henshall-Brown, Richard MacDonald, Graham Platts and (ghost) Lynne Hynd.

Runners-Up : Team 6 : 11
Henry Gill, Hans Beque, Graham Field and Lynne Hynd.

Well done to everyone else who took part and the remaining team scores are as follows: Team 5 = 12, Team 1 = 13, Team 3 = 15, Team 7 = 20 & Team 2 = 21.

As per our recent email we are at New Sierra Golf next Thursday 03 Dec’20 so do come and join us again and do let others know too. After that, the 12 Dec’20 game cannot be confirmed until public announcements have been made with regard to out of Municipality travel.
