Thank you all for supporting Amigos today at La Torre and especially our first timers Lea and Gertie and hope that you enjoyed the day.  The greens were a bit shabby following recent hollow tinning and the results show that some golfers managed them better than others. Whilst you ladies always play exceptionally well on this course a designated Gents category did ensure that at least the guys had a good opportunity to win a prize!

With only one winner’s prize this time honourable mentions go to Alastair Sporne and Graham Field, 33 stableford points, John Mair & Dave Hooper, 35 stableford points. However all plaudits go to an impressive performance by:-

Yet again showing good golfing skills congratulations Sharon Seed, 33 points, Patricia Gingell 34 points, Gertie Verschueren and Yvonne Verhoeven, 37 points and equalling the best of the day with Dave well  done:-

Team Competition:
Four teams got close to and matched standard par of 108 points, very good going, but one team well exceeded that with a magnificent combined effort:-
Winners : Team 5 : 115 points

Runners-Up : Team 1 : 108 points 
Caz Clarke, An Van Den Borre, Gertie Verschueren and Lea Verschueren.

Other team scores were: Teams 4 & 2 = 107 pts, Team 3 = 102 pts.

Our Amigos Anniversary Cup away day to Desert Springs is getting closer so please do support that fixture, it’s not as far away as you think and promises to be a real treat for all. It is unfortunate that some airlines have cancelled all flights in June preventing and disappointing many of our Amigos who intended to join us at Desert Springs and depleting our numbers so please do come along and play, we need you!
