Hola Amigos,
I  hope that you have all dried out from yesterday’s washout? The weather was certainly atypical for this time of year and unfortunately the deluge saved itself for a Thursday, an Amigos day!  However, I am so pleased that so many of you supported us and played, or tried to play and am sure that all of you new members will certainly not forget the day at La Torre?  Please do come and play another game with us where we can properly entertain you.
Regrettably the competition had to be abandoned as there were insufficient full rounds played in such appalling conditions and as a result there will be no handicap changes.
The day did bring some memorable performances though, Teams 1 and 2 and 2 members of Team 5 completed all 18 holes!  And, well done Pauline Stow who managed to score 43 points even in those conditions and two ‘two’s’ were recorded by Alastair Sporne and Paul Taylor.
We will credit you all with the €5,00 prize fund monies you paid when you next play with us. 
Those next fixtures before our ‘Anniversary Away Day’ to La Sella on 28/29 May are El Valle, Thursday 05 May’22 and Villamartin on FRIDAY, 13 May’22 so please do register if you haven’t already done so.
Thank you once again for supporting Amigos and well done Brian Platt who tried very hard to put some scores together when the scorecards turned to mush!
