Hola Amigos,   

Thank you all for participating in and supporting Amigos golf at La Torre today.  Not a bad outing but a bit of a shame for some of us who did not complete the circuit due to the thunder/lightening storm.

However, that didn’t affect the winning totals which were as follows:-
Many congratulations to our two lady winners of the individual competitions today, Carol Henshall-Brown, on countback from Garry Elderbrand with 32 stableford points in Category 1 and the other Carol in category 2, Carol Cockeram with 37 stableford points. Don't forget, there will be no handicap changes whilst we play under the lockdown constraints.

With a very creditable below par score (which is 108 points for this 2-3-4 Waltz competition), the Team tournament the Winners are:- Team 3 : 111 points: 
Brian Platt, Mark Seed, Carol Henshall-Brown and Richard MacDonald.  
Richard helping out with 4 pts and 5 pts nett scores in the closing holes.

In Runners-Up position very well done:- Team 2 : 104 points:
Garry Elderbrand, Dave Hughes, Brian Stobbs and Liz Murty.

And fine performances too from all of the other competing teams, thank you: Team 1 = 97 pts, Team 4 = 96 pts, Team 5 = 88 pts & Team 6 = 80 pts.

Next week we look forward to our trip to Golf Altorreal, that’s Thursday 04 Jun’20 and the following week, Thursday 11 Jun’20 we will be at El Valle or Hacienda Riquelme.  This will be advised shortly.
