That was Vistabella and we were so pleased to have presented it to you and that you all enjoyed it, especially if it was your first time!  And you did manage to score very well on the course as a bonus.
Before I go into the results we would, on behalf of AMIGOS everywhere like to congratulate and thank you all for raising so much money for Saturday’s important Charity Day at Hacienda Riquelme.  At €1,00 per entry fee for the ‘Two’s Pot’ competition on a voluntary but ‘charity’ basis each week we managed to collect €1.044,00 to hand over to the Organising Committee for their distribution to Local Charities and Good causes!  And we donated 2 x Two person + Buggy vouchers, too, for their auction.  If you want to bid for them on Saturday please do so and if you want to put a reserve on them please do contact Gordon Hutchinson straight away.  We are so proud of each and every one of you, thank you again.

With just a Team competition this time and on this special weekend most of the prize monies has gone straight into the box to start off the next Charity Year. But at least we gave out golf balls to mark your achievement. With a standard par of 72 stableford points the format of ‘changing’ better-ball pairs you ought to have achieved even better than that and you did in fact every Team exceeded it!  The podium places went to a winning Team and two Teams sharing the same total in second place.  Many congratulations....

What great shots you Sharpshooters delivered on the Par 3’s;  Gail Duffield, Hole 2; Cormac Sheehy, Hole 7; Gordon Hutchinson, Hole 11 and Rob Buckey, Hole 15.  And well done Gail for putting your NTP shot away for the only ‘Two’ of the day.
Well played everyone who took part and especially those who were ‘encouraged’ a little to play and those not played with us for a couple of years.
Let’s look forward to the upcoming fixtures on our ‘Summer Swing’, La Finca on Thursday 06 Jul’23, an all buggy affair and Las Ramblas on 13 Jul’23.  If you would like to join us do let us know straight away.
