Hola Amigos,   
Thank you all for supporting Amigos at El Valle and the crazy medalford format which was selected due to the quality of golfers playing! I hope you all enjoyed the competition and especially our new first timers.
Scoring was pretty good generally and especially from many of the category 1 players.
Category 1 : Medal
Standard Nett par only saw Mike Hughes, 72 (hurt badly by a 10 on hole 16), honourably mentioned along with Gordon Hutchinson, 74, and Emmett Loftus, 74 but many congratulations go to our awesome under par prize winners:-
Winner : Steve Cherry : 68 
Runner-Up : Paul Sawyers : 70.

Category 2 : Stableford 
Ilham Legzouli, 36 stableford points, Graham Field, 30 points, Caz Clarke and John Mair 29 points are hereby honourably mentioned but our two prize winners (Cat 1 players on another day) are:
Winner : Mick Lynch : 40 points
Runner-Up : Dave Robinson : 38 points.

Team Competition 
4 Teams managed to exceed standard par of 36 points but the winning combo was decided by an excellent back nine score:-
Winners : Team 2 : 25 points
Martin Trevillion, Gordon Hutchinson, Dave Robinson and Mick Lynch 
Runners-Up : Team 1 : 25 points
Emmett Loftus, Stephen Day, Caz Clarke and Ilham Legzouli.

Other team scores were: Team 4 = 30 pts : Team 5 = 32 pts : Team 3 = 39 ps.

And the only sharpshooter today winning the maximum in the ‘Two’s Pot’ was Dave Robinson, many congratulations.

Amigos continuing Summer Tour sees us play New Sierra next Thursday 05 Aug’21 (always a good track to play on so please set aside any preconceived notions!), La Torre on Thursday 12 Aug’12 and another ‘away day’ to Hacienda del Alamo on 26 Aug’21. To those of you on short visits and others returning the their holiday homes, see you soon and for those remaining please book on-line or let me know.  Numbers are always reduced during summer so please let your friends know.
