Hola AMIGOS
What a winning combination it was yesterday at Las Colinas. A great golf party, a great golf course, great hospitality, astounding weather and a glittering of prizes and you guys who not only supported the event in numbers but contributed greatly to the atmosphere by ‘dressing up’ in wonderful styles of razzle dazzle and bling!  We hope you thoroughly enjoyed the event as much as we did arranging and preparing for the occasion. Thank you so much to everyone who took part and contributed to make it so successful!

And, who won?  Well everybody, everybody won a prize so many congratulations to all, but if you have to look a little closer at the numbers these guys played very well both as pairs and combined even better as a Team and after the handicap allowance was deducted:-
Winners : Team 13 : 131.7 points
Max Shirt, Matt Quinn, Kirk Green and Bob Lancaster
Runners-Up : Team 12 : 138.6 points
Jim Douglas, Aidan Lowe, Graham Field and Graham Platts

And the Nearest the Pin sharpshooters won additional prizes by demonstrating their accuracy on, Hole 5, Kevin Hughes; Hole 7, Paul Taylor; Hole 10, Carol Henshall-Brown, Hole 14, Zuzanna Dennerley and Hole 17, Matt Quinn. What skills!

And who impressed our Glitter Sponsors’, Carol and David Henshall-Brown, the most?  Well without any shadow of doubt it was Mick Hughes and once you see the photos you’ll understand why!  And also, yours truly, Graham Field, impressed but you were all so amazing!
And on the more serious golf side many congratulations Kersten Rammeloo for winning the Sep-Dec’22 Category 1 Order of Merit for playing some outstanding and consistent golf in the last quarter.

Well that’s it for another Amigos Golf year, but hold on not so fast, we start all over again next Thursday 05 Jan’23 at El Valle with a return to a more subdued golf normality!
