Hola Amigos,     What an absolutely glorious day it was today and the good scoring reflected the conditions and the mood it put is in. Thank you for joining us Alan and Janet Tone and Charlie and Morag O’Shea and I hope that you enjoyed the occasion as much as all of our regulars and irregulars do?   In the individual category 1 (handicap range 8 - 21): Alan Tone, 35 stableford points, Sharon Seed, 37 and Linda Portlock, 39 did very well but our first timer, Janet Tone came out on top with a fine performance recording 41 points.   In the Individual category 2 (handicap range 22 - 33) the honourable mentions went to: An Van Den Boore, 32, Bob Webster, 33, Liz Murty, 35 and Rudy Ceusters, 36 points and for the first time on the winning podium Dennis Morrison was in the money with a magnificent 38 points.   And for the ‘not too complicated’ Magic 7’s format team accolades and honourable mentions went to:-   Team 8 : 11 points - Alan Tone, Sharon Seed, Dave Hooper and Graham Field.   Runners-Up : Team 2 : 12 points,   Brian Platt, Janet Tone, Brian Stobbs and Richard MacDonald.   Winners : Team 4 : 14 points,   Gordon Hutchinson, Mike Portlock (playing very well as a ghost!), Dennis Morrison and Liz Murty.   Today’s very commendable target shooters closing in on the four specified pins and collecting our new top quality Vice-Pro logo golf balls for the first time were:-   Hole 4 (in 3); Linda Portlock,  Hole 8 (in 2); Dennis Morrison,  Hole 11; Bob Webster,   Hole 17; Bob Webster.   Thank you all for supporting Amigos and I look forward to seeing some of you at Hacienda Riquelme next week and Las Colinas on Thursday 13 Feb’20.   They are both full houses but let me know via email to go on the reserve lists.
