Hola Amigos, 
What a real treat to play on a stunning golf course today where the views were as spectacular as the golf was challenging and on a course in the best of condition and at the best of prices!  I am so glad all of you returnees and guests had somewhere special to play.  And what an amazing clubhouse, surely the best in the area.  
But how did you fare?

Individual Category 1
Well played Tony Syme and Andy Reeves, 34 points, Steve Hurst, 32 points and Sandy MacDonald, 31 points you are honourably mentioned. Many congratulations are saved for our runner-up and winner who always seems to play at the top:-

Individual Category 2 
Well done Graham Booth, 34 points and Richard MacDonald, 32 points but two players shared the leading total and the winner was decided on our lowest handicap principle. But well played both of you.

Runner-Up : Willie Custance: 35 points

Individual Category 3
Mentions are advised for John Fox, 32 points, on higher handicap vying for runner position, Tiina Hurst 31, points but many congratulations go to your Runner-Up and surely for our stand out winner in this category and best of the day:

Runner-Up : Rob Henshaw

Team competition 
This was very tightly contested with most teams exceeding standard par of 72 or very close but all plaudits are given to two teams:-
Winners : Team 5 : 85 points
Annette Deeley, Dot Jones, Serge Petruzziello and Rob Henshaw
Runners-Up : Team 1 : 84 points
Chris Sharp, Dave Robinson, John Fox and David Brown.

We asked you to contribute €2,00 for the voluntary ‘Two’s Pot’ with 50% going towards the JHB Charity Day fund but as there were no sharpshooters out there today the whole total will be put into the fund. We will continue to do this for the Amigos October games.

Your next competitions are Thursday 04 Oct’21 at El Valle (please let me know if you want adding to the reserve list), Thursday 21 Oct’21 at La Torre and Friday 29 Oct’21 at Vistabella.  Please note also that Thursday’s 11 Nov’21 at Alhama Signature, which still remains closed, has been re-scheduled to Campoamor.  Please also note in your calendars the JHB Annual Charity Competition on Friday 22 Oct’21 to be held at Hacienda Riquelme for which you will be advised from a number of sources within the next few days.
From tomorrow you can also refer to Amigos competition list on the website for the whole of 2022 and you can register on-line for all of your favourite golf courses and planned trips or those that you may make next year!
