Hola Platinum Fours Teams
Well, we Sponsors, Organisers and Helpers hope you thoroughly enjoyed the inaugural Platinum Fours event at Las Ramblas today?  Your responses on the Terrace post-game suggested that you did?  So much went into putting the competition together with all of the goodies and food and drink and unusual prizes and we played on a stunning golf course in a beautiful setting but you forgot to play golf!  Even in picking your own Teams you forgot how to play golf!  It was a tough golf course though, with difficult greens and a challenging format but your scoring did not quite match up to the occasion! 😂 The main element though was bringing you all together to have a bit of fun and if we succeeded we are delighted.
There were some good moments though and we were more than happy to award prizes to the winning Teams.  To remind you standard par was 144!

There were some exceptional golf shots played and pleased to honourably mention the Nearest the Pin sharpshooters; Kevin Scott, Hole 4 (In 3) and Hole 9 (In 2); Josie Aves, Hole 10 and Rob Henshaw, Hole 12.
Many congratulations to all winners and to everyone else who played, supported the event and contributed to its success.
Once again let’s mention Liz McReynolds, G’s Cafe Sucina, Las Ramblas Restaurante and Pro-Shop, Bob Lancaster, Harry Rice, Dave Hughes, Brian Platt and Iain Stewart who all contributed to the production. And let’s not forget Graham Platts who, whilst injured, still came to take photographs of you all and do check out the website 'Photo Albums' page.
We think we should play the PLATINUM FOURS again next year, and we will with the support of Liz McReynolds, at El Valle on Saturday 29 Nov’25 so start thinking about your teams now!
