Hola AMIGOS and GOLDEN BEARS
Many congratulations Gordon Hutchinson and your Golden Bear Team on your convincing win yesterday, what a performance.  Coming second again is a tough pill to swallow for Amigos but we will try harder next year!! The only consolation was that that all 64 players were already on the Amigos database so technically Amigos won as well 😂😉.

The result proved to be less close than the previous year with Golden Bear winning 10 matches vs Amigos 6 matches. Although it was not necessary this year (unlike last year's 7-7 result) the tiebreaker of 'Most Wins' would have been comfortably taken by Golden Bears with 109 holes won vs 83 holes won for the Amigos.

Our sharpshooters for the day were:
Hole 5 = Graeme Bradbury
Hole 9 (in 2) = Stephen Day
Hole 12 = Liz McReynolds
Hole 18 (in 3) = Sam McReynolds with a birdie.

Judging by your comments and happy faces, you all seemed to have had a great day out irrespective of the colour of your golf shirt and that is what counts. You Golfed at Lo Romero, and danced, sang, drank and ate at The Hub, Altaona, what a day!
Thank you so much for your support whether you were in the party of 64 golfers at Lo Romero and/or included in the 92 golfers, family members and guests at The Hub.  
You know that you are always appreciated wherever you were.
Thank you to all of the Amigos Organisers and Helpers in staging such an event whichever venue you were at, Brian Platt, Iain Stewart, Harry Rice, Bob Lancaster, Dave Hughes, Ron Weller, Graham Platts and Gordon Hutchinson, and many others I might  have missed.
Finally thank you all not only for yesterday but also your generous support through contributions to the ‘The Two’s Pot’ over the last year which enabled me to present to the HRCharityGolf Organising Committee, via Gordon Hutchinson, a sum of €1.064,00.
