This was the first Order of Merit event since moving to the revised format of 'Best 4 games from 6' and moving to a two division model. Overall it appears to have been very successful with this quadrimestre composing of 10 games (the final game on 28/4 was abandoned due to poor weather). We had 151 different players compete in at least 1 game and the 'cut-off' handicap for Division 2 was 17.9, with anyone lower being in the Division 1 category. A total of 39 players managed to complete the full 4 qualifying games with 20 managing to hit the maximum 6 game tally.

Division 1:
This division was pretty clear cut with the winner taking a strong lead early on from some extremely consistent scoring. Our winner finished with a 9 points lead over Alastair Sporne in 2nd place (136pts) and 15 points over 3rd placed Dave Hooper (130 pts). Many congratulations go to Klaus Hummel who takes the Division 1 trophy with a 145 points.

Overall, we had a total of 6 (qualifying) scores of 40+ points with the premier score going to Kirk Green for a magnificent 44 point tally. There was 1 score of 42 points and 1 of 41 points, plus 3 others of 40 points. Nobody managed two scores in the 40's and, whilst not a qualifying score due to the competition being abandoned due to bad weather, Pauline Stow's remarkable 43 points tally in pouring rain definitely deserves a mention.
