Despite the typical reduction in playing numbers during the quadrimestre 2 Order of Merit event we had a great competition with Division 2 being open up to the last game of the event. This quadrimestre was again composed of 11 games (extreme heat meant we played several peak Summer events as 'team games' only). We had 154 different players compete in at least 1 game and the 'cut-off' handicap for Division 2 was 18.7, with anyone lower being in the Division 1 category. A total of 30 players managed to complete the full 4 qualifying games with 15 managing to hit the maximum 6 game tally & 20 managing 5 games. This division looked like a walkover after 5 games with the leader being 15 points ahead of anyone else, however, along came Terry Wallington with a brilliant run of form and fell 1 point short after his 6 games. Hans Nout & Kersten Rammeloo also made a late challenge but only managed 4 games and couldn't quite catch our winner or Terry.  Many congratulations go to Gordon Hutchinson who takes the Div 1 trophy with a 150 points.
