Despite the typical reduction in playing numbers during the quadrimestre 2 Order of Merit event we had a great competition with Division 2 being open up to the last game of the event. This quadrimestre was again composed of 11 games (extreme heat meant we played several peak Summer events as 'team games' only). We had 154 different players compete in at least 1 game and the 'cut-off' handicap for Division 2 was 18.7, with anyone lower being in the Division 1 category. A total of 30 players managed to complete the full 4 qualifying games with 15 managing to hit the maximum 6 game tally & 20 managing 5 games.

Division 2 went down to the wire with our winner 'chewing his nails' whilst both Lynn & Stan Lalley needed to score 37 points in their last games to take his crown. Neither quite managed that so Stan took 2nd place with 144 points & Lynn took 3rd with 142 points. Congratulations go to our clear winner who was Harry Rice, with a fine tally of 147 points. 
  
We had a total of 7 (qualifying) scores of 40+ points with the premier score going to Harry Rice with a magnificent 44 point tally. There was 1 score of 43 points and 1 of 41 points, plus 4 others of 40 points. Nobody managed two scores in the 40's.
