The final Order of Merit event of 2022 saw some great golf with 154 different players playing in at least one OOM event. This quadrimestre, the leadership of the tables was continually changing with the eventual winner being decided in the last 2 games. This event was composed of 10 games (the last 2 matches of the year are 'fun games' and non-qualifiers) and the 'cut-off' handicap for Division 2 was again 18.7, with anyone lower being in the Division 1 category. A total of 45 players managed to complete the full 4 qualifying games with 20 managing to hit the maximum 6 game tally & 33 managing 5 games.

Division 2 once again went down to the wire with our winner snatching first place with the final round of the season. Rob Henshaw looked a 'dead cert' to take this division after his blistering 49pts at Vistabella but that only proved good enough for 3rd place with his 146pts. By the last game, Vince Mifsud had amassed 148pts to 'top of the table' with some steady scoring but our eventual winner was having none of that and played his best round of the year to take the title. Congratulations go to our clear winner who was Harold 'H' Clarke, with a fine tally of 151 points.

We had some fabulous scoring this Trimestre with a total of 17 (qualifying) scores of 40+ points with the premier score going to Rob Henshaw with his magnificent 49 point tally @ Vistabella. There was 1 score of 43 points, 5 scores of 42pts, 6 of 41 points, plus 4 others of 40 points. Nigel Smith and Peter Cafferkey both managed two scores in the 40's so watch out for them in the first round of 2023.
