The final Order of Merit event of 2023 saw 179 different players competing across 10 games and the 'cut-off' handicap for Division 2 moved to 18.9, with anyone lower being in the Division 1 category. A total of 45 players managed to complete the full 4 qualifying games with 24 managing to hit the maximum 6 game tally & and extra 7 managing 5 games.

Division 2 went 'down to the wire' with Ken Sewell taking and holding a lead for much of the quadrimestre. Richard Deeley looked to be hot on his tail but was unable to complete a 6th game that may have improved his score so fell just short and came 3rd with 144pts. Mike Kitchen also put in a late charge but sadly ran out of qualifying games so was unable to improve on his lowest score of 29pts and again fell short. Henrik Tonnisen also made a late charge but needed a good score on his 6th game to pip Ken, he scored 41pts to take the lead with an excellent 152pts, leaving Ken in 2nd place with 146pts.

We had the highest ever quantity of 'high scores' this Trimestre, with 19 (qualifying) scores of 40+ points. The standout score being the 44pts from Jonathan Webster, but there were also: 4 scores of 42pts, 8 of 41 points, plus 6 others of 40 points. Special congratulation go to: Harold Clarke, Henrik Tonnisen & Gail Duffield who each recorded 2 scores of 40+ within their qualifying rounds.
