The January - April 2020 HR Amigos 'Order of Merit' was 'cut short' by the Covid-19 lockdown and only consisted of 9 qualifying games with no Amigos game being excluded from the OOM results due to their format or cancellation.   

The 'lockdown' meant that the last game of this OOM period was on 12/3 but, despite that, we still had 104 different players during that period, with 11 people playing in 7/8 games and 24 managing at least 5 qualifying games.   

As is becoming the norm, this Order of Merit once again had an early leader (Andy Wasik) who quickly established a strong lead with some solid & consistent scoring. It looked like it was 'all over' with a month to go but Sharon Seed had other ideas and started to chase Andy's score. It started to look interesting but Andy had other ideas, so he called in some favours from the Spanish Health Ministry who promptly stopped all golf in Spain. Sharon was stuck in 2nd place and unable to play her 3 potential remaining games whilst 3rd place was shared by the Murty household (although technically Eddie stole the place on countback).  

Joking apart, congratulations to Andy on playing some excellent golf to amass a super total of 181 points. A very justified winner.  

​The best individual round scored during this 4-month window was from Rich Worsley, who had the audacity to record 47 points at El Valle. We also saw 4 other players record scores in the 40's.
