The September - December 2018 HR Amigos 'Order of Merit' consisted of just 11 qualifying games with 2 Amigos games being excluded from the OOM results due to their format (26/12 - Boxing Day Trios & 28/12 - Comber Challenge). We continued the practice of only counting the first 8 games played by any individual from which their best 5 scores were calculated. Despite the reduced number of 'counting' games, 6 people achieved the 8 game maximum and 21 achieved 5 qualifying games. ​ The third of this year's triannual Order of Merit once again had a clear leader for most of the contest, with Brian Stobbs proving to be very consistent with his scoring. A late rally by Brian Platt (aided by a 41 point haul at Saurines) made things a little more tense but eventually the challenger ran out of time to catch our leader. ​ The best individual round scored during this 4-month window was from Rudy Ceusters with a magnificent 45 points. We had 3 other scores of 40 or more from: Brian Platt (41), Liz Murty (40) & Patricia Gingell (40). ​ Top 3 Scores: First Place: Brian Stobbs with 181 points Second Place: Brian Platt with 177 points Third Place: Rudy Ceusters with 172 points ​ Congratulations go to Brian Stobbs on a great win and an honourable mention should also go to Andy Wasik, for whom time also proved to be a deciding factor. Andy was 40 points behind our winner but had only completed 4 games; 2019 could very much be Andy's year to win.
