The September - December 2019 HR Amigos 'Order of Merit' consisted of only 10 qualifying games with 3 Amigos game being excluded from the OOM results due to their format or cancellation (12/9 - Rained off, 7/12 - Matchplay, 26/12 - Pairs Texas Scramble). This OOM period of 4 months had 106 different players (despite only consisting of 10 games) with 10 people playing in 7/8 games and 21 managing 5 qualifying games. ​ This Order of Merit once again had an early leader (Gordon Hutchinson) who quickly established a strong lead, but Dave Hooper started to 'find his game' with some excellent consistent scoring. Dave's consistent high scoring (4 scores of 36 or above) proved just enough to pinch the lead from Gordon, with 1 week to spare. Third place went down to the last game when a magnificent 39 points from Bob Lancaster saw him secure third place, despite only playing 7 games. Congratulations to Dave on his success, which maintains the trend of the Order of Merit producing a new winner for every competition. ​ The best individual round scored during this 4-month window was from Serge Petruzziello with a magnificent 45 points. The key to success this year seems to have been 'consistency' as we had only one other score in the 40's from Malcolm Weaver (40). ​ Top 3 Scores: First Place: Dave Hooper with 182 pts. Second Place: Gordon Hutchinson with 180 pts. Third Place: Bob Lancaster with 171 pts.
