GAME STARTER SHEETS

Starter sheets are pre-prepared for all Amigos games and added to the website (under the 'Book a Game' folder) as soon as they are defined. If you have been included in the starter sheet but cannot play, or if you have been omitted from the sheet and were hoping to play - Please email Graham Field or use the Contact form on this website to let us know as soon as possible.
AMIGOS HANDICAPS
​
The HR Amigos golf society handicaps are automatically adjusted after each competition (based on WHS rules) and Amigos will find details of their current society handicap on the 'Amigos Handicaps' page. These handicaps are used by HR Amigos, HR Golf Society & Golden Bear games so qualifying scores in any of those society games will impact your handicap allowance. If you are concerned that your handicap or slope info is incorrect then please contact Brian Platt via the contact form on this website
AMIGOS 'STANDARDS
To keep things running smoothly we follow a simple set of guidelines and principles about how we play our games. We like ensure that we each support all other Amigos (including the organisers) by: not letting people down, playing in the right spirit and by meeting our personal responsibilities. The 'Amigos Standards' page summarises these standards & expectations.
AMIGO'S 'SPECIAL EVENTS'

Occassionaly, we will run a major event for which we will create additional pages for the website that are specific to that event. Keep watch for these (there will always be some build up via the 'Hot News' page) as they are great days for both golfers & their partners, usually extending beyond simply the golf game and involving some social activity or post match food & presentations.
GOLF COURSE DIRECTIONS

HR Amigos have played across 29 different golf courses and we strive to bring more & more variety for our members. To assist Amigos, a list of courses with links to both their websites and a Google maps direction to the course is provided on this page. and, By clicking on the desired course name you will open the website for that page. By clicking on the image by the course name you will get access to Google map directions to the course.
GAME FORMATS EXPLAINED

To provide variety and a better chance for different people to win prizes, the Amigos try to operate a mix of competition types, some of which can seem a little complicated, so a summary of the different format types is provided on the 'Competition Formats' page. Remember - Whatever the specific day competition format, we will calculate a singles Stableford score from each individual's scorecard to add into the "Order of Merit" table
AMIGOS MERCHANDISE
​
We have acquired a number of smart Amigos branded items (golf tops & golf balls) which are available for Amigos to purchase via the Merchandise Request form. Once we have sufficient numbers requesting shirts, and all the required details, we will place an order with the supplier and notify you when the goods arrive. Golf balls will typically be held in stock and are available via any committee member on request.
